About Course

Cracking interviews at premier research institutes like IISc, IISERs, JNCASR, NISER, and RCB requires much more than theoretical knowledge. These interviews are designed to evaluate how well you think, connect concepts, and apply fundamentals to new situations.This course is specifically designed to help you build that ability.

We focus on developing a strong conceptual foundation, along with the intuition and strategy needed to approach real interview questions. Through carefully selected examples from previous years and real interview experiences, you will learn how to move beyond memorization and start thinking like a researcher.

A special emphasis is placed on mathematical and graph-based concepts, which are frequently used in interviews to assess analytical thinking within biological contexts.

This course is guided by the experience of Payal Lumba (IISc Scholar), who has demonstrated strong performance in national-level examinations (GAT-B AIR 24, GATE BT AIR 59, IIT-JAM BT AIR 69), qualified JGEEBILS and JNCASR. With interview experience across premier institutes including IISc, IISERs, TIFR, and other premier institutions, along with mentoring thousands of students since 2023, the course is built on real and practical insights into the interview process.
